NIINA SAXLUND — PHOTOGRAPHER, VISUAL DESIGNER & FINE WOOD ARTISAN
A multipassionate visualist. I’ve been engaged in the visual arts and music since childhood, while also having a strong interest in technology.
Much of my skills have been developed through self-directed learning, complemented by formal education. After graduating from upper secondary school, I have studied information technology and visual communication (majoring in photography at LAB University of Applied Sciences / Institute of Design - but I left before graduating).
In autumn 2025, I graduated from Omnia, Espoo as a fine wood artisan (cabinetmaker).
I aim to leave behind sensory-friendly, harmonious products, spaces, and services that are genuinely pleasant to use. My style is clear, refined, timeless, and elegant — combining minimalism with classical elements.
My current goal is to focus on creative direction, build networks with other creatives & tech enthusiastics, and work on a tech startup. I have found myself as an artist rather building products than doing design commission work.
My core values include authenticity, empathy and earthiness and I am a firm believer of gentle marketing.
